Eden Hazard has admitted that it would be a “dream” to play under Zinedine Zidane as the Chelsea star continues to be linked with a move to Real Madrid.
The 26-year-old has established himself as one of the finest playmakers in the Premier League since his move to Chelsea from Lille back in 2012.
Hazard has won two Premier League titles during his time with the west London club and he will be hoping to help Antonio Conte’s men to challenge for the Champions League this season as well.
The midfielder has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in the past, although a switch to The Bernabeu has never materialised for the attacker.
Now though, Hazard’s latest comments about Real Madrid boss Zidane are likely to spark fresh reports that he is keen on a move to the Spanish club.
Hazard is quoted as saying by the Sun: “Zidane would be a dream to have as a coach, he was my idol when I was little.
“I have a lot of respect for him.”
Hazard helped Chelsea to claim an impressive 1-0 victory over Manchester United in the Premier League last weekend as the Blues moved to within one point of the leaders.
Chelsea return to Premier League action after the international break when they take on West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns on Saturday 18 November.
