Real Madrid will launch a stunning £120million bid to sign Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard, according to reports.
The Spanish giants are keen to make the 26- year-old Belgian forward their next Galactico, and are prepared to smash the British transfer record to land him.
Hazard’s future at Stamford Bridge has come under the spotlight after he was left on the bench for the Blues’ 5-0 thumping of Stoke City on Saturday.
His father has also fuelled gossip by saying in an interview with the Belgian press last week that his son has refused a contract extension with Chelsea amid the interest from Los Blancos.
Hazard’s current Chelsea deal runs to 2020 and, according to The Sun, Real are hoping to use that to their advantage.
The European champions hope their huge £120m bid will tempt Chelsea to cash in on their key man now, knowing that his value will drop once he nears the end of his contract.
Chelsea are reportedly willing to make Hazard to the highest paid player in Premier League history by offering him a new £300,000-a- week deal. But the Belgian ace has spoken openly of his admiration of Real boss Zinedine Zidane , saying in November that it would be his ‘dream’ to play for his childhood idol, so the lure of moving to the Spanish giants could prove too strong to resist.
