Antonio Conte barked out instructions to his Chelsea squad as they trained at Cobham ahead of Saturday's clash with Newcastle.
Chelsea's stars wrapped up warm with snoods and gloves during the session at the Blues' training complex with Conte in the thick of the action..
The likes of N'Golo Kante, Cesar Azpilicueta, Alvaro Morata and Eden Hazard were present as Chelsea prepared for their second match in four days.
The Blues beat Swansea 1-0 last time out thanks to Antonio Rudiger's first Premier League goal, a headed winner in the 55th minute.
Wednesday's win over Swansea saw Conte sent to the stands by referee Neil Swarbrick after a verbal outburst at fourth official Lee Mason.
Conte has been hit with an FA fine of £8,000 for the incident and while he accepts the punishment, he urged referees to get a grip on time-wasting in matches.
'It is right to accept it and pay the fine,' Conte said on Friday. 'The referee took this decision, I have to respect it and pay this fine.
'I also want the referee to learn something about this because Swansea was wasting time and the referee has to protect the team that wants to play football and try to win the game.
'I accept the decision of the referee. In the future I will try to avoid saying these things to the fourth official and will push my players to say these things to the referee.'
'I was angry because I said twice to the fourth official "look they are wasting time" but I shouted and showed dissent..
The champions will come face-to-face with their former boss Rafa Benitez at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, who was interim manager at Chelsea during the 2012-13 season.
Benitez was an unpopular appointment at Chelsea after replacing Roberto Di Matteo at the helm but led the club to a third-placed finish in the Premier League while winning the Europa League.
And ex-Liverpool boss Benitez said he expects a fairly warm reception when he takes his Newcastle side to west London on Saturday.
'I think the fans will be fine. The normal fans who you can find on the streets were okay with me.
'When you go to the game, the rivalry between Chelsea and Liverpool changed things and the perceptions of some people. The majority of people realised I was doing a professional job.
'We finished third, like [Roman] Abramovich wanted, to qualify straight for the Champions League. We did it and we won the Europa League in the meantime. I think the fans will be happy with that.
'It was really positive there. I have a lot of friends there, the staff was really good and the fans were fine.
'I tried to take the positives out of things and those are that they realised we did our job until the end and more and we achieved what they wanted, which is fine.'
Newcastle ended a run of four straight defeats last time out by fighting back from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw at West Brom.
The newly-promoted Magpies sit 12th in the Premier League table, with 15 points from 14 matches played so far this season.
