Eden Hazard has been made happy for one reason according to Thierry Henry

Thierry Henry has claimed that Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has made Eden Hazard happy once again by playing him in the right position.


Hazard apparently favours playing in the number ten role, and that’s where he has been deployed of late, at times to brilliant effect for the Blues.

With the links to Real Madrid, Chelsea fans will be glad to see Hazard is happy at the club, and hopeful this may convince him to sign a new deal.

The Express report Henry said: “What it is is that he’s happy to play again as a No 10. “A free role if I can say, he doesn’t have to defend that much following the wing back, or full back nowadays.

“He’s sharp on the counter as we all know, he’s great on the ball.

“Vision, skills, goals, assists, name it.

“But what I like with him is that you can see the happiness is back on his face and sometimes that does make a massive difference.

“But also I think he’s really relishing that position as a 10.”

One thing that Chelsea fans are becoming increasingly aware of is the fact that when Hazard plays poorly, Chelsea loos toothless and struggle to score – as was the case against Arsenal.
